does it take something bad to happen to make people change

I think that it really does take something bad to happen to make people realize that life is to short to do the things that they do because they can end up dead or in jail are they can end up hart really bad because it took my best friend Brandon to realize that smoking and drinking and being in the car with someone that’s is doing it are did it all ready can take a big toile on your life and that’s what it did it killed are best friend and it set him in the hospital hart really bad and he realize right then if it wasted for god he could have been dead today and all of this happening mad him really turn his life around because he made it through just fine without something putting a hold on the rest of his life.
